The Department of Radiodiagnosis at Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute has been a pillar of excellence since its inception in 2008. With a strong foundation in clinical expertise, research, and academic leadership, the department continues to advance modern medical imaging and radiology education.
Our team comprises highly qualified, full-time radiologists with subspecialty expertise across all major domains of radiology. With a dedicated commitment to accurate diagnosis, compassionate patient care, and continuous innovation, we strive to enhance healthcare outcomes every day.
Equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technology, the department provides comprehensive 24/7 imaging services for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care. Our advanced modalities include CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Digital Radiography, Fluoroscopy, and portable imaging, supported by a fully integrated PACS-RIS system.
We take pride in our robust academic ecosystem. The department offers:
- MD (Radiodiagnosis)
- B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) – Upto 2025
- B.Sc Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (BMRIT) – From 2026 onwards
- M.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) – Upto 2025
- M.Sc Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (MMRIT) – From 2026 onwards

The Mission of the Department of Radiodiagnosis at SSSMC & RI are:
