How to reach SSSMCRI?
Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute is situated in the midst of greenery and hills in the village hamlet Ammapettai of Chengalpattu District. The Chennai metropolitan limits are around 14 kms and the famous heritage site Mahabalipuram is around 23.kms. It is well connected to the Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) by 14kms which connects to the Chennai city and also to the Grand Southern Trunk (GST) road that connects to the Chennai –Trichy Highway by 18.4 kms.
By Rail
The two grand railway junctions Chennai Egmore (MS) and Chennai Central (MAS) are situated at a distance of 49.9 kms and 52 kms respectively. Both these stations are well connected different parts of India from Jammu to Kanyakumari and also from Ahmedabad in the West to Agartala in the East.
From the above said metropolitan junctions boarding the local trains to Guduvanchery suburban station or Tambaram junction will make the Journey little comfortable and ease.
By Road
If you are travelling from Southern part of Tamilnadu, Guduvanchery bus terminus is the spot where you need to get down, whereas if you are coming from other states and if landed at the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus(CMBT) commonly addressed as Koyambedu bus stand, the two ways by which you can reach our SSSMCRI is,
1. Board a MTC bus direct to Tiruporur or Kelambakkam, and from there you can hire an auto (14kms).
2. Board a MTC bus direct to Guduvancherry bus terminus and from there you can hire an auto (18 kms).
You can also opt for call taxi services operated by OLA, UBER and Fasttrack.
By Air
The nearest Airport is in Meenambakkam which is around 37.5 kms far from our Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute. It has both the domestic and International terminus and is well connected most of the destinations across the world. The best way after alighting at the airport is to book an airport taxi or to book a cab.
