CONSTITUTION OF MONITORING COMMITTEE FOR SSSMCRI HOSPITAL

PREAMBLE: In order to enhance the objective functioning of the Constituent colleges/Centres, MONITORING COMMITTEES have been constituted with immediate effect at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth.

The Monitoring Committee for the SSSMCRI Hospital would be responsible for the effective functioning and overall monitoring of all the broad and super specialty departments, including operation theatres, pharmacy services, clinical services and all processes related to patient safety and patient satisfaction. It has the powers and authority to investigate the various facets at the level of each clinical department as well as on any pertinent matter that resides within the jurisdiction of the other departments of the Hospital including the standing  Committees/ Ad hoc Committees that may be constituted from time to time for looking into a specific purpose of action. The Committee would also obtain inputs, besides coordinating with the Patient Care Committee.

The Secretary of the Committee would be responsible for arranging the meetings, presenting the Agenda, compiling the minutes of the meeting and Action taken report, in association with feedback and remedial action. The Agenda, minutes of all the meetings as well as the Action taken report should be circulated, only following the approval of the Chairperson/Vice-Chairperson.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To advise the various institute level committees and corroborate on the decisions in facilitating the implementation process related to patient care, patient satisfaction etc.

To advise on goals aimed towards holistic development of  SSSMCRIhospital services that include broad and super specialties

To disseminate and monitor information during the implementation process thatmust be action oriented and achieved within the given timeline

TENURE OF THE MONITORING COMMITTEE FOR SSSMCRI HOSPITAL —-Two years

FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS—–Fortnightly (unless stated otherwise for a specific purpose)

QUORUM—-One third

SPECIAL INVITEES:  GM (Admin.) and other invitees as and when deemed necessary for realizing specific objectives
