Premier Department of this Institute catering to 350 patients/day from this rural part of INDIA, with inpatient strength of 100-120/day.
Our Medical team is available round the clock attending to all medical emergencies. Our medical team gives a very courteous care to the patients who attend the medical outpatient department which runs from 8.30 AM to 4.00 PM.
Our medical team efficiently manages emergencies like Cardiac emergencies, Respiratory emergencies, Acute and Chronic Kidney failure, Stroke, Epilepsy, Acute poisoning, Severe Jaundice, Septic shock, Snake bites etc. An excellent care is given for these patients.
Our department has a well equipped “Medical Intensive Care Unit” with 10 beds, 5 beds for CCU (Coronary care unit) where sick patients who require intensive monitoring and care are managed by efficient Physicians and Nurses. Patients who require ventillatory support are treated with utmost care.
A full fledged Nephrology unit with 6 Dialysis machines working round the clock.
All Faculty , PGs and CRRIs are actively involved in COVID-19 Screening, Diagnosis and Management.

Structured Superspecialty & Critical Care Training
- Provide rotational clinical training in Cardiology, Nephrology and Neurology, ensuring broad-based exposure to subspecialty care.
- Conduct structured postings in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) for comprehensive critical care training.
- Train residents in advanced procedures and emergency stabilization.
- Strengthen competency in managing cardiac, renal, neurological, metabolic, and gastrointestinal emergencies.
Academic Excellence & Daily Postgraduate Teaching
- Conduct daily structured academic seminars in the afternoon for postgraduate residents.
