Unit of Pharmacovigilance is actively reporting ADR to zonal center. ADR monitoring at SSSMCRI involves serious adverse events, customer ADR reporting and reporting blood and blood products related reaction (Haemovigilance).

Pharmacovigilance committee constitutes 14 members from various clinical departments and every second Thursday the committee meeting is conducted to review the Adverse drug reactions and PVC activities at SSSMCRI.

PVC members clinical rounds at 10.30 to 11.00

As the staff nurse will be the first person to be in contact with patients, PVC has conducted sensitization program for staff nurses and Pharmacist about Pharmacovigilance and ADR form filling. Every year special PV program are conducted to sensitize the post graduate students about ADR monitoring and filling ADR forms.
