Nursing service is the backbone of any hospital and the department of nursing at SSSMCRI is no exception.

SSSMCRI is a 700 bedded hospital hosting various surgical and medical departments and auxiliary departments. Patients in all of these departments are provided with the much needed nursing care with compassion and kindness. Experienced and competent nursing supervisors keep watch over the services round the clock.

In addition, the department of nursing arranges training programmes for the staff members of the department in order to update their skills and knowledge. Medical camps and vaccination programmes are also taken care of by the department.

The various intensive care departments are staffed by well trained and qualified staff nurses who provide round the clock service contributing to the recovery and well being of the sick patients.

Boarding and lodging facilities are provided to the nursing staff, ensuring their presence and avaibility for any calamity or emergency.
