Dr. Jawahar George is an Assistant Professor of Human Physiology at the Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute in Chennai, India. He received his MD in Human Physiology from the Chettinad Academy of Research and Education in 2019, , where his research was focused on Circadian Physiology and Respiratory Physiology. Dr. Jawahar did his MBBS in Lugansk State Medical University, Ukraine. Before joining SSSMCRI, Dr. Jawahar George was working as Associate Professor of Physiology at the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities, Muttukadu from January 2020 to September 2021. Dr. Jawahar George is a passionate educator and researcher. He is committed to using his skills to make a positive impact on the world. In his teaching, Dr. Jawahar strives to create a learning environment that is both challenging and stimulating. He is also committed to mentoring students and helping them develop their clinical skills. Dr. George is interested in molecular mechanisms of diabetes, circadian physiology, respiratory physiology & cognitive neurophysiology. | |

Profile SummaryDr. J. Narghis Bushra joined SSSMCRI in 2021. Prior to joining in SSSMCRI, she was working as Assistant Professor of Physiology in Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute. She did her MBBS in KAP Viswanatham Government Medical College, Trichy and Postgraduation MD in Physiology in Chettinad Hospital And Research Institute. She has an expertise in Diabetology, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Metabolic disorders and Lifestyle disorders. She has been doing extensive research in Diabetology and Metabolic disorders and has been guiding Unergraduate students in their ICMR - STS projects. During COVID Crisis, she has worked as senior resident and an active member in association with Chettinad Super Speciality hospital in helping 3000+ patients get appropriate treatment and recovery. Dr.Glad Mohesh has completed his Master of Science in Medical Physiology (Faculty of Medicine) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. He has earned his Doctorate in Physiology from Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Puducherry. He has 14 years of undergraduate teaching experience and 6 years of post graduate teaching experience.His areas of research interest vary from Cardiovascular changes in tobacco users to the hypolipidemic effect of indigenous medicinal herbs in Zebrafish animal models. Use of technology in teaching, research and administration is his passion. He strives to be a self-directed learner earning certification in animal husbandry to artificial intelligence from premiere educational agencies. He is a recognised PhD guide in Physiology (Faculty of Medicine) at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth guiding 3 PhD scholars. He has been the Member secretary of the IEC, IAEC, MRU, & Publication audit committee. He has been serving as the Nodal officer of SSSMCRI with various Government agencies such as the AISHE, NIRF, NSP-AISHE and MCC. He is also the serving member of the Institutional Research Council, Internal quality assurance cell (IQAC-NAAC), Website coordinating committee, and Coordinator of the Subcommittee for patents at SSSMCRI. He has guided 5 ICMR STS short term studentship projects, published 49 research articles and his research works has gained 130 citations and a h-index of 6.

He joined as tutor on 22.6.2011 in the Department of Physiology in Shri Sathya Sai medical college & RI around 8 years. He enrolled his PhD in 2019 in Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth.
