I am Dr. Dipayan Deb Barman, born on 2nd February 1979 presently working as professor & Head of the department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology. I have a total experience of 13 plus years in teaching. I have been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and have guided postgraduate students in their thesis research completion. I am involved in the development of value-added training courses in the field of Forensic Toxicology and in the organization of high value scientific events.

3. One International CME on Child Abuse: An Insight into The Problem & Finding Out Means to Effectively Combatting It held on 31st July 2022 at Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai.
4. United Nations World Drowning Prevention Day and workshop on resuscitation techniques in victims of near drowning held on 25th July 2022 at Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai.
5. United Nations World Road Traffic Accident Victim Remembrance Day & CME on prehospital and hospital care of Road Traffic Accident Victims as per ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) Protocol held on 21st November 2022 at Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai.
6. Forensic Nursing Conference in the 2nd International Health Research Convention held on 20th & 21st January 2023 at Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai.
7. Organized a national hybrid CME on 9th November 2023 titled “Recognizing, Responding and Safeguarding Patients: Prioritizing Toxicological Emergencies” at Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai.
8. Organizer in charge of periodic clinical toxicology hands on training in management of poisoned patient in the skills lab of Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute.

Organized as organizing committee chairman a national multidisciplinary CME on Navigating New Horizons: Emerging Infectious Diseases & Safe Autopsy Practices in collaboration with the Mahatma Gandhi Medical Advanced Research Institute of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth on 18th March 2024 at Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai.
