10	Professor,HOD Dr Dilip Kumar G MBBS., M.D., Profile Summary Dr. Dilip Kumar joined the institution as Assistant Professor on the 28th of May, 2013 and was promoted as Associate Professor on the 12th of April 2019. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology. His undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience is 8 and 5 years respectively. He has a Fellowship in Pain Management. Being one of the principal regulators of the Postgraduate and Allied Health Sciences curriculum, he has incorporated skills based training into these training programmes. He plays an important role in department functioning and has an avid interest in simulation based training. He has lifetime membership in professional bodies like Indian Society of Anaesthesiology (ISA), Indian Society of Study of Pain (ISSP) and Indian Medical Association (IMA). 40	Associate Professor Dr Anusha Balasubramanian MBBS., M.D., Profile Summary Asst. Prof. Balasubramanian Anusha, joined the Department of Anaesthesiology as Senior Resident in MGMCRI in December 2017 after completing the UG and PG in MGMCRI. She was promoted to Assistant Professor in April 2018. In MGMCRI, She was the part of the Palliative Care Team and Acute Pain Management Team. She was also a member of the Code Blue team in MGMCRI. After which, She joined SSSMCRI as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Anaesthesiology, in November 2019. She plays a pivotal rolein all the departmental proceedings.She is also the departmental post graduate coordinator and is involved in and setting up of monthlyacademic schedule, departmental exams, paper correctionfor the Postgraduates. Being the Member Secretary ofMedical Simulation & Skills Lab, sheis the cornerstone in setting up of the Medical Simulation & Skill Lab in SSSMCRI and running the skill-based training programmes successfully till date. She has coordinated various events that has happened in medical simulation& skill lab.She is a member in American Heart Association and a Lead Instructor and has conducted BLS & ACLS Provider Courses for Faculties, Post Graduates & CRRIs. . She is also a member in Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists. To add to her credit, She has 3 publications in various international journals. She is also currently awaiting copyrights. 36	Professor Dr Krishna Prasad T MBBS., M.D., Profile Summary Currently working as Associate professor. He joined the institute as Assistant Professor on 21-09-2015. He was promoted as Associate Professor on 02-03-2020. Total UG and PG teaching experience is 7 years and 2 months. He has fellowship in Pain Management. He has an avid interest in simulation based training, and has incorporated skills based training into the Interns, Post Graduate and Allied health sciences training programs. He is a key player in the departmental functioning and curriculum assignment for the Post Graduates. He is also a key member in various professional bodies like Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, Indian Medical Association. 20	HOD,Professor Dr Vijay Narayanan S MBBS., M.D., Profile Summary Dr.Vijay Narayanan joined this institute as a Professor in August 2020 and was designated as the Head of the department from April 2021. He also heads the Allied Health Sciences (Anaesthesia Technology) program. He is the Coordinator of the Hospital based Certificate Courses program for SBV. He is a recognised Ph.D guide for Anaesthesiology and Inter-disciplinary research of SBV. He has 13 years of UG teaching experience and 10 years of PG teaching experience. He has been a PG teacher and Guide for post graduate students for various research projects since 2016. He has 12 publications to his credit in various national and international journals.
